The Chair of Decision Theory and Behavioral Game Theory at the ETH Zurich has multiple openings for Ph.D. candidates and Postdocs.


Potential candidates should be interested in studying human
decision making and have interests and training in some of the
following areas: experimental research methods in human decision
making, decision theory, cognitive psychology, experimental economics,
behavioral game theory, statistics and mathematical modeling.

The Social Interactions, Identity and Well-Being Program of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) invites applications for a CIFAR Junior Fellowship, a two-year postdoctoral appointment to begin as early as December 1, 2009 (or later). Candidates may apply for any of three proposed research projects, described below, to be led by one or more members of the program. The top candidate from the full slate of applicants will be considered by CIFAR’s Board of Directors for the Junior Fellowship.

Two Post-Doc Positions available for up to 3 years at the University of Heidelberg


The Department of Economics of the University of Heidelberg intends to fill two Post-Doc Positions at the earliest possible convenience. Appointments shorter than 3 years are possible if desired. The positions include no teaching obligation. Salaries are according to the German pay scale E13/E14 and range from about 40.000 to about 45.000 Euros. Funds for travel, research support, and experiments are available.
