July 1st, 2015: Launching of the 2015 ASFEE Best Paper Award!

For the 1st time in 2015-2016, The French Association of Experimental Economics (ASFEE) will award a prize for the best paper presented by a young researcher at its annual conference. This prize includes a 1000 Euro award and the publication of the selected article in the journal Theory and Decision.
Application to the 2015 ASFEE Best Paper Award is open to any participant under the age of 34 (by December 31, 2015) who presented a paper at the 2015 ASFEE Meeting in Paris on June 15-16.
There is no condition of nationality. The age limit does not apply to the co-authors and there is no restriction on the number and status of co-authors.

Selection
Each paper submitted will be reviewed by at least two referees from the board of the association.
A pre-selection of 3 papers among all submitted papers will be made by November 15, 2015. Authors of pre-selected and rejected papers will be notified immediately.

The 3 pre-selected papers will then be sent to reviewers of Theory and Decision. The final winner and the two other finalists will be notified of acceptance or rejection by the end of May 2016.
The names of the winner of the 2015 ASFEE Best Paper Award and the other two finalists will be publicly announced during the 2016 ASFEE conference. The prize will also be awarded publicly to the winner during the conference.

Submission
Submissions are to be sent electronically to the address: submissionPrize2015@asfee.fr. The submission deadline for papers is October 15th, 2015.

Only one submission per applicant is accepted. Submitted papers cannot be submitted elsewhere during the pre-selection/selection process. The paper must be complete and prepared according to the submission guidelines of Theory and Decision. The guidelines can be found at http://www.springer.com/economics/economic+theory/journal/11238.

Submissions will include:

  • The submission form (downloadable below),
  • The complete paper (PDF format),
  • The experimental instructions (PDF format),
  • An electronic copy of the author’s identity card or passport to certify his or her age.
